Special Olympics Rhode Island’s Annual State Summer Games are BACK!
The State Summer Games will feature in-person events at the University of Rhode Island on Friday, June 3rd and Saturday, June 4th.

After weeks of training and competing at Area Games, athletes from all over Rhode Island will compete in athletics,
bowling, cycling, powerlifting, swimming, soccer skills and unified soccer at the 2022 State Summer Games.

The State Summer Games Opening Ceremony will be held on Saturday, June 4th at 9:30am and will include the introduction of teams along
with the arrival of the Torch Run Final Leg with the Flame of Hope to officially open the Games.

In addition to competitive events, Saturday will include Olympic Village, Athlete Showcase and the Healthy Athletes Wellness Village.
Olympic Village is an area filled with fun and interactive events for athletes and their families to enjoy.
Healthy Athletes Wellness Village is located in Olympic village offering free vision, dental, hearing and fun fitness
screenings along with massage therapy for athletes.
