Get Involved as an Ongoing Volunteer (Class A):

Volunteers influence all aspects of Special Olympics Rhode Island.  Volunteers who take on going roles help to mold and influences the Special Olympics community.  Roles range from long-term coaching, committees, helping to run sport competitions and fundraising events.  There is a place for everyone to become an ongoing volunteer to help with a local program or with state level opportunities.

CURRENT ONGOING (CLASS A) OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE FALL SEASON:

Unified Partners for Basketball and Flag Football (Unified Sports Partners are athletes without intellectual disabilities who train and compete in sports alongside their peers with intellectual disabilities).

Volunteers for the Tennis Program at Domenic Cristofaro Park in Narragansett on Saturday mornings.

Volunteers for the Young Athletes Program on Saturday mornings at the Special Olympics RI office in Smithfield.
