Overview

Many short-term/event volunteer opportunities require no sport specific knowledge and those that do would be noted on the specific event volunteer registration form.

Due to the nature of sports and athletics, Special Olympics Rhode Island events are fast paced and may involve possible risks associated with a specific sport. For this reason, all volunteers must be at least 16 years of age or older to volunteer unless otherwise noted.

Upcoming Events:

2024 Golf Skills Tournament
Date: August 10, 2024
Location: Button Hole Golf Course, Providence RI
Volunteer Hours: 10:15am – 1:30pm
Volunteers are needed to coordinate the skills stations and do the scoring, escort the athletes to the skills stations, and celebrate their accomplishments.
