On Sunday, March 22, 2026, the Law Enforcement Torch Run® for Special Olympics Rhode Island will host the Annual Torch Run Plunge at Salty Brine State Beach in Narragansett.

This signature event brings together 200–250 participants from local and state law enforcement, fire departments, corrections, and public safety agencies, all coming together to brave icy ocean waters in support of Special Olympics Rhode Island athletes.

Registration requires a $50 minimum donation and includes lunch. Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged.
