RETURN TO PLAY GUIDELINES

Special Olympics Rhode Island is happy to announce that we will begin Phase 2 of our “Return to Play” programs.   All decisions for this phase continue to be made with the safety of our athletes, unified partners, families, coaches and volunteers in mind.  Our safety measures and protocols follow the recommendations and guidelines of Special Olympics, Inc., Center for Disease Control (CDC), Rhode Island Department of Health, the State of Rhode Island and the SORI Board of Directors and will be monitored throughout the season.  The health and safety of everyone involved with Special Olympics Rhode Island is our top priority, as it was in Phase 1.

During “Return to Play – Phase 2”, Special Olympics Rhode Island will be functioning under the Phase Two COVID-19 guidelines for the sports being offered.
