The 2025 Torch Run Super Plunge

March 22 – March 23

Kicks off at 1:00 p.m. on March 22, 2025 followed by the final plunge at 12:00 p.m. on March 23, 2025.

The TORCH RUN SUPER PLUNGE is an effort to increase both awareness and fundraising for Special Olympics Rhode Island. A BRAVE team of individuals plunge into near freezing water once EVERY HOUR on the hour for a grueling 24 hour period representing 24 hours, 24 plunges, full submersion, no excuses, no backing out!  Since this event started 12 years ago in 2011, it’s become one of our most unique and talked about fundraising events.

In 2024, the Torch Run Super Plunge team raised a combined total of over $140,000! Let’s help the 2025 team surpass this amount!
