Legs of Annual Torch Run
May 30, 2025
- Woonsocket Leg departs from the Woonsocket Police Station (242 Clinton St.) at 9:30am and will continue through Cumberland, Lincoln, Central Falls, Pawtucket and Providence and will end at the State House (Smith St.) at approximately 12:20pm.
- Burrillville/Glocester Leg departs from the Burrillville Police Station (1477 Victory Highway) at 9:30am and will continue through Smithfield, Johnston, N. Providence and Providence and will end at the State House at approximately (Smith St.) 12:30pm.
- East Bay Leg departs from Bristol Police Station (395 Metacom Ave) at 10:00am and will continue through Warren, Barrington and East Providence and will end at East Providence Police Station (750 Waterman Ave) at approximately 12:30pm.
- South County Leg departs Westerly at the intersection of Post Rd & Wilder Ave at 2:15pm and continue through Charlestown and South Kingstown ending at the shopping plaza at Routes 138 & Rte. 1 at approximately 6:25pm.
- Providence Leg departs the State House at 2:00pm and continue through Providence, Cranston, Warwick, East Greenwich, North Kingstown, South Kingstown ending at the shopping plaza at Routes 138 & Rte. 1 at approximately 6:20pm.
FINAL LEG
Members of Law Enforcement, Fire, Corrections and Justice planning to participate in the Final Leg leading to the 2024 Summer Games Opening Ceremony should plan to arrive at the University of Rhode Island, Keaney Parking Lot (26) near the Lot 26 entrance located at the intersection of Route 138 and Keaney Road by no later than 7:30pm. The Final Leg departs at 7:50pm and continues directly into Meade Stadium culminating with the lighting of the cauldron at approximately 8:00pm.
