Attention SORI Volunteers

 

New required volunteer training available online

 

As of October 1, 2007, Special Olympics Inc. has mandated that all Class A Volunteers and Unified Partners participate in the Protective Behaviors Training as part of the Volunteer Screening process. All SORI Class A Volunteers and unified partners must complete the training which is available online  to maintain active status.

All new volunteers must take the Protective Behaviors Training and attached their survey completion confirmation to their Class A Volunteer Application to be properly registered with SORI.

 

 


 

Join the youngest members of the Special Olympics Rhode Island family in our new Young Athletes Program.  Young Athletes is for children ages two to seven.  This fun, participation-based program teaches eye-hand coordination and motor skills through games and group activities.  For more information, please email Chris Hopkins at chris@specialolympicsri.org.
